Cece Peri holds a doctorate in psychology from SUNY Stony Brook and is a freelance research consultant.  Her poetry has appeared in literary journals and anthologies including Speechless the Magazine, San Gabriel Valley Poetry Quarterly, Untangled: Stories & Poetry from the Women and Girls of WriteGirl, Anthology of the Long Island Writers' Guild, Gift of Words: Poems for the  Iraqi People, and is forthcoming in Master Class in Poetry from Duende Books.  She was the recipient of the first Anne Silver Poetry Award from Speechless.  Cece grew up in New York City, but now calls the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains her home.
